Hello Monday! Every summer, I tend to put away all our area rugs because it is a pleasure to have the cool wooden floor underfoot and one of the first things I do to make the house ready for fall and winter is bring them back. They instantly anchor the room and add warmth and color. My favorite colors are brick red and dark blue, and my family laughs about this, but whenever I shop for area rugs, I gravitate towards these colors every single time. I know most people don't associate dark and navy blue with fall but to me it's a no-brainer because of the way it pairs wonderfully with reds, rust and orange. Luckily, there is a lot of choice in Persian rugs with those color combinations. (I may not allow any one to walk on these though!)
What are your go-to colors for fall? Any out-of-the-ordinary pairings?
